Awhile ago I told Cookie Monster Gumball TOE TOE to draw a geisha on a turtle and what he painted was very beautiful, but not what I had imagined at all, hahaha. I had always wanted to do my version of that assignment, but I never really saw it through. But as I was watching the Olympics last night and doodling idly away on my sketchpad, I drew something that I sort of liked and just went with it. Since I hadn’t planned it I didn’t think about the turtle she was supposed to be sitting on and obviously ran out of space, but that’s cool with me. I got excited enough about this drawing and working with inks again that I stayed up until 3:30 AM or something. By finishing time, I was completely loopy, weee.

Family outing at the beach, where the grandparents are supposed to be running through the water (definitely did not do that), son is making a sandcastle, daughter is making the dog listen to a seashell, dad is reading a newspaper, and mom’s applying sunscreen.

One word: SIGH.  T_T

Indiana Jones escaping a terracotta army graveyard while driving a chariot being pulled by terracotta horses. THANK YOU, TOE-KNEE. *rolls eyes*

And here’s a first: preliminaries!

Female samurai on a ‘steampunk’ (whatever the hell that is) horse walking towards a nine-tailed fox.

Guess who’s on my new hate list? YES, TOE KNEE. *glare*

Dueling magicians on rooftops in… Washington DC!!! Yeah, major cop-out by putting the Washington Monument in the background. Basically, it filled up empty space. I could think of a lot of gutter jokes right now with that thing, but I should really stop.

Box Bean Town: Mermen and Testosterone

Somehow my friend Tony (better known as Toe Knee or TOE TOE) and I came up with this brilliant idea: I would tell him to draw something and vice versa and we each had a week to complete it. Then we named the event Box Bean Town.

I was told to draw Poseidon holding a trident fighting off three mermen. At the time, I obviously wasn’t really paying attention to Tony because I ended up drawing four mermen, but at least one of them is wielding a trident. In fact, I just sort of thought I was creating a cooler Triton from The Little Mermaid. I should really write things down next time.

Go see what Tony did. I gave him a really outlandish idea, mwahaha.
